Based in Montreal, Laura is a touring coach for the Canadian Prospect Team, coaching privately, and the head coach for Girls Leading Girls Tennis in Halifax.
She's lived and coached in Cambodia, Maldives, Seychelles, France, Mauritius, USA, and Uganda over the past decade, and if you can imagine what is to live in some of these countries, and train athletes in them; she's done it.
And we are all unique
With a more mental and psychological approach to coaching, we are all going to experience something unique to ourselves. While on the road, in practice, or playing under who knows what conditions against who knows where, we all need that kind of support, understanding and guidance - that we are all eventually going to grow, whether it's in our control, or not.

Club Rec / High performance
Sometimes it’s just as great to have an assistant coach around from time to time when the time gets busy. There may not be enough coaches at the academies/club programs and/or for parents to travel with the players.

Whether you need improvement in your fitness for tennis, footwork, endurance, or you just want to have fun with a few friends on the court, tennis with the focus of fitness hits you in the right spot with this one!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Laura while she was in Phnom Penh, during her time with Tennis Cambodia. I have worked with Laura between 2019 and 2020 at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. She was responsible of the tennis program at the resort. From booking of the activities to conducting the clinics, Laura was one of the best tennis coaches I have met so far, and I have met a lot when I was in the UAE. She is a complete coach and a wonderful player who knows her stuffs. Laura is amazing with kids which for me is a great asset. I wish that I can work with her again in the future to offer a high quality tennis experience.
This is the piece that I know was Laura’s contribution. This year has been a very tough year for everyone and not only did the girls show up to all the lessons but they pushed themselves and enjoyed doing it with Laura’s guidance. She struck that fine balance of pushing the players to excel and still enjoying their time with her and their peers. What I heard from all the players was that they felt supported.
This year was a different year and GLG was something I always looked forward to. I felt like I was part of a community where I was improving my own skills and helping others. I loved going to the morning classes and being taught by Laura. She had a unique way of coaching and she inspired all of us. Laura is generous and took the time to help each of us individually to solve any issues or questions we had about competing or technique.
Laura proved to have all of those qualities, while bringing even more to the table by training many of our younger staff with new, innovative kids tennis games, drills and activities and also demonstrating a great range of coaching by very positively impacting the lives and ability of players from pure beginner to advanced level performance players. Laura’s ability to positively connect with the player in front of her was also further proven as she was able to make great connections with players as young as 5 years old to over 70, and all ages in between.
